Spongy Swelling Left Collarbone Area. Could You Give Me A Idea Of What Is Wrong ?
Have intermittent painless spongy swelling between left side of neck and collar bone , this has been occurring for 4 weeks. I also have swelling over my thyroid in my neck on right hand side. I have had blood test on thyroid which was normal. Last couple of days I have had intermittent stomach pain, not like a stomach bug pain but more a deep sharp pain. Could you give me a idea of what is wrong
Hi,
welcome to HCM.com and thanks for the query.
It looks like you could be having a thyroidtumor. It could be benign so there is no need to panic. But you should get it checked by a doctor immediately. A thyroid test can be normal in such cases. You should get a scan and biopsy done of the thyroid gland and the neck swelling. Hope you get well soon.
Regards.
