Spotting, Cramps A Week After Bleeding. Had Taken Levonelle Before Periods. Pregnancy Chances?
Hello. Back in April I had Sex with a condom but I was afraid some had leaked out (I am quite paranoid). This resulted in me taking one levonelle pill, twelve hours after sex. A couple weeks later I had what was like my typical period, heavy bleeding and no cramps (my usual). Now, a few weeks, later I had a single spot, and some cramps. What is the likelihood ( I know not super accurate unless I take a test) that these are pregnancy symptoms.
It is less likely that you could be pregnant given that you took the emmergency contraceptive pill ( levonelle ). Leveonelle is very effective when taken within the required period of time following intercourse and especially when taken within the first twelve hours following intercourse.
Mild irregularities in the menstrual cylce and in bleeding patterns have been observe in certain cases with levonelle in take and generally regulate with time.
However, like you said, we can only be certain that there is no pregnancy if you do a pregnancy test.
Best regards
