I presume you are referring to polycystic kidney disease and chronic kidney disease. Yes. you are right that with a given severity symptoms vary from person to person. They also vary with seriousness they take the control of hypertension. You are either not following closely with your doctor or failing in compliance of drugs that is why you wrote phrase like somewhat under control . Control of blood pressure is an objective which we want to achieve in to its maximum and always under control . I empathize with you for having such nuisance of disease but none of us had any control to choose the diseases we are going to suffer from.
