Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
I am a qualified and certified cardiologist and I read your question with diligence.
I presume you are referring to polycystic kidney disease and chronic kidney disease. Yes. you are right that with a given severity symptoms vary from person to person. They also vary with seriousness they take the control of hypertension. You are either not following closely with your doctor or failing in compliance of drugs that is why you wrote phrase like "somewhat under control" . Control of blood pressure is an objective which we want to achieve in to its maximum and "always under control". I empathize with you for having such nuisance of disease but none of us had any control to choose the diseases we are going to suffer from. We have to follow the healthcare providers' suggestions to fight them with best of our ability. Somehow, it gives the impression that your terrible feeling are related to that. My suggestion will be to have an appointment with your doctor and sort out about drugs you ought to take and minute details of diet (take help of dietitian) ; I assure you things will be somewhat better after that. Good Luck.
Best Wishes
