Started Yasmin Birth Control Pill On The Fourth Day But At Irregular Intervals. Are There Any Chances Of Pregnancy?
Hi! I started taking the birth control pill Yasmin on the 4th day after my period ended. This was on Wednesday December 5. However, I did not take the pill at the same time every morning and took it a few hours after the 24 hours stipulated. Is there any chance then that sex on Saturday 8th can lead to pregnancy? Should I take emergency contraception like the ipill anyway?
Hello, Protocol says that if you are starting your birth control pills for the first time, then you have to take additional protection, even if you are taking the pills regularly,in first week. There are all the chances for you to get pregnant. You should take emergency contraceptive pills. Thanks
