I started the birth control pill a little over a month ago and the past two weeks I woke up in the middle of the night nauseaed and I puke sometimes twice in one night. I also wake up in a pool of sweat. Now my stomach hurts during the day and I feel the urge to have to poop all the time even though I dont go when I try.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. If you started on the birth control pill recently, the feeling of nausea, vomiting, urge to poop called tenesmus, and waking up sweating might all be normal. It will get better over time. If it does not I hope you visit with your psychiatrist or a gynecologist who can help with your problem.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
