Started Developing Painful Nodule Under Armpit And Groin. Told To Be Inflamed Sweat Gland And Prescribed Antibiotics. Cause?
Hello, I noticed several days ago that I started developing a painful nodule under my right armpit. That also led to 3 smaller ones on my left. The right armpit is more painful and definitely bigger than the left. I went to the Dr. Today who said he didn't feel it was lymph nodes but more like inflamed sweat glands. He prescribed me antibiotics just in case. Once I got home I then noticed the same painful swelling in my groin area near my vagina. I'm totally freaking out, I am already anxiety prone so this isn't helping me at all. I don't feel confident in my diagnoses. This has never happened to me.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having enlarge painful lymph nodes in your armpit and in the groin. As enlarged lymph nodes are at various places requires evaluation. complete the antibiotic medicine course and see the effect, if there is no improvement then consult your physician and go for investigations. Ok and take care.
