Started Taking Ayurvedic Medicine To Dissolve Fibroadenoma. Should I Go For Surgery?
hi, i am 25 yrs old and have fibroadenoma from six years which is in same size and n no pain and no other symptoms but it some time worries be about breast cancer . i have started taking ayurvedic medicine to dissolve it the medicines are varanadi kashyam tablet and chandraprabha pills so, i would like to know whether it s helpful or i should go under surgery and remove it?
Sorry to hear about your problem. Fibroadenomas are usually benign and long standing fibroadenomas rarely undrgo malignant change, so you don't need to worry on that front. If the lump has been persisting for the last 6 years, then it will not resolve on its own or by any ayurvedic medicines. The only treatment is that you get it removed surgically. These days there is a less invasive method to remove a fibroadenoma and that is by using a mammotome. It does not leave a scar.
Please let me know if you would like any other clarification regarding your problem.
