How Long Does It Take To Recover After Fibroadenoma Surgery?

Hi I had surgery to remove fibroadenoma of size 6mm, doctor decided to remove it since it is large and my breast is small, four months ago. Still the area is hard and feel sometime some pain! In addition, they found two fibroadenoma of small size. My questions: When the area of surgery will be become normal? and would another fibroadenoma grow in the same place or not?? how frequent the fibroadenoma might come back?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The hardness would be due to the formation of scar tissue at the site of trauma.
This is the normal inflammatory reaction.

It can take a few months for this area to become normal but if the pain is severe, you should be reviewed.

You may not have a regrowth but this would be not be able to be predicted.

This would need to be monitored.

I hope this helps
