Started With Fertility Injections. Ultrasound Shows Follicle Large. Bloating And Cramps.



I got married in January of this been trying to get pregnent but nothing happend so in september on my second day of periods I went to a gynacologist and was dignosed with pco she put me on Prolofin 50 mg tablet a day for five days and then on tenth day she started with fertility injections till day fourteen and got a good size egg and toled to utilize the following week. Wih hope odf conception she told me to come back on the tenth incase of periods but meean feom 2nd day onword toled me to take two prolofin 50mf tablets again. And on the tenth day when they did an ultrasound on me they found my ovaries had developed ohss with largest follicle being 48.3 mm. I want to know will I get pregnent this cycle I am on my 20th day today woth on and off cramps since day 16 along with bloatinf and no veginal descharge. Please help me out.

Thanks for your query.
While having OHSS, chances of pregnancy do increase, because there are multiple follicles.
However, there is also a risk because the side effects of OHSS are many.
THe most you can do is remain sexually active, and not have a trigger with HCG shot as it will worsen your OHSS.
Wait for spontaneous ovulation or at best take Decapeptyl.
If you have any worsening - weight gain, bloating, decreased urine output , breathing difficulties, then you should consult your doctor immediately.
