Stent Placed After Angioplasty. Taking Rampril And Metaprolol But Blood Pressure Is Fluctuation
I haveundergone gone angioplasty in Early NOv.2013 and had six stents in my arteries. I was advised to continue with Medicines Rampril 5 Mg once, Table deplete 150 (*clopedgril 150 and Aspirin150mg) and Metaprolol 12.5. mg..since than my Blood pressure is fluctuating in range of 140/80 to 160/100. despite increasing Metraprolol dose 50 mg and addition of one more Drug OLMAT H 40/12.5. Is my BP ok and there is ome compliactionas. I am taking GEMR 2 twice for sugar and Atrovas 40 for cholesterol My. Sugar and cholesterol levels r withing normal range.

Hello. I would not advice any of my patients to worry about 140/80mm of hg blood pressure but 160/100 is definitely on the higher side and this issue should be addressed. If persistently your blood pressure readings are on higher side I would advice you to see your cardiologist to either increase your ramipril or olmat-h medications and optimize it according to your requirement.
