Stiff Nerve In Bottom Shaft Area Of Penis After Mitomycin And BCG Treatment. Is This Normal?

Hi..I am 60 yrs. old, was diagnosed of bladder ca. I undergone mitomycin and BCG treatment 10 months apart. I noticed that during these treatment periods, I felt a very stiff nerve or vein or whatever at the bottom shaft area of my pennis. I am wondering what it is and what causes it?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a thick cord like structure at the base of penis.

This is nothing but a one of the dilated tributaries of dorsal vein of penis that drain in dorsal venous plexus situated at the base of the penis behind Pubic bone.

This is common to have such dilated tributaries in some individuals and do not carry any significance.
