Stomach Cramps, nausea, loud Sound From Stomach In 8 Year Old

My little boy whose 8 has had stomach cramps and nausea off and on since last Saturday. He has an appointment to see his Dr. Monday, but I am just wondering what could be the possible cause. He s not one to get sick. He s very healthy. He don t eat as many green vegetables as he should so he may not get as much fiber as he needs in his diet . Other than that he eats pretty well. He very seldom drinks anything but water. I listened to his stomach last night with my ear and it sounded very loud and hyperactive. To me, it didn t sound like normal bowel sounds. What do you think that we need to ask about when he sees his Dr.? Thanks.

This can be due to several causes. Worm infestation, amebiasis, gastritis or before onset of diarrhea etc. Depending on your place doctor will advise about medication after examination and investigation if needed. For the time being avoid spicy or oily food. Look at the color of his urine and inform doctor if there is any change.
