Hello,
thanks for using health care magic
The presence of fluid in recto-uterine pouch (pouch of Douglas)
associated with vaginal discharges are more in favor of a chronic
pelvic inflammatory disease(PID) in the organs in the pelvis due to
an infection become inflammed causing pains and discharges and in the long run
infertility, ectopic pregnancies, abscesses etc.
Chlamydia infection is a common cause of PID. Other common causative agents include; Ureaplasma, Neisseria gonorrhoea , Microplasma etc.
Treatment is with antibiotics and your doctor should be able to prescribed based on the epidermiology of your area.
Best regards and hope this helps you.
