Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. My upper stomach is hurting and has hurt all weekend. My doctor said she thought I had a hernia and I have an appointment Wed with a specialist. I just called to see if I could get in today and they are full. My upper stomach hurts it feels like there is alot of pressure or maybe something is squishing my organs together. It feels hard to breathe too.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Stomach pain ( feeling of lot of pressure in side).
One thing is very important in your history is that there is a pain and hurting all weekend. It means pain is not rest of days. Hiatal hernia actually causes following symptoms as, Acute chest pain, dysphagia ( difficulty in swallowing ), Feeling of a mass, gastritis, ulcer formation. In my opinion this is not a case of hiatus hernia. Since pain is mostly at weekend , so something is wrong in eating of weekend. Consultant will reveal you every thing. Hope I have answered your question. I further any question I will reply gladly. Good luck. Dr. HET
