Strep Throat, Scarlet Fever, Tonsils Sticks Out More, Swollen Lymph Node. Should I See ENT?

do I need to go to my regular doctor and get a referral to see an ENT or can I just make an appointment for one that takes my insurance? I have never seen a specialist before...I had strep throat in february which turned into scarlet fever and took lots of antibiotics. it go better now im noticing one of my tonsils sticks out more a little bit where the other side does not...its not swollen at all. i see a tiny white patch behind it. I have had a history of nasal problems and sinus infections my whole life...dont know if that makes a difference. my throat doesnt hurt but my lymph node is a little more swollen on that side. not a lot just slight. i'm really nervous. I am a 23 year old healhy female.

Hi
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to your over all history, it seems it must be chronic throat infection, the white patch you noticed must be exudation, you better see the ENT surgeon, in your case the swab culture test has to be done, I think The ent will take care of it have good day.
