Struggled With ADD And Generalized Anxiety. Don't Want To Rely On Medication. Advise
Hi I am a 26 year old female who has struggled with ADD, and generalized anxiety all my life. Because my anxiety gets so bad I tend to compulsive skin pick. My grandpa whom i love very dearly is near death in the hospital and I don't want to rely on medication but I'm about to have a mental breakdown. I can't handle this. Please help me
ADD is Attention Deficit Disorder. Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is an anxiety disorder that is characterized by excessive, uncontrollable and often irrational worry about everyday things that is disproportionate to the actual source of worry. For diagnosis of this disorder, symptoms must last at least 6 months.
If you are confirmed of these problems and if you are suffering for long, medications are must. But you can come out of them with proper psychotherapy techniques and meditation. I can help you if desired. Or find a suitable psychotherapist.
Wish speedy recovery
