Stung Be Bee On Earlobe, Lump On Neck Below Earlobe. Is It Lymph Node Reacting To The Sting?
Hello... I got stunk by a bee last week on my right earlobe . I believe it was a bee. It left the stinker on my ear. I pulled it out. A week later, i noticed a lump on my neck right below my earlobe. Is it lymph node reacting to the stink? If so, how long does it take for it to go down. My earlobe is slight swollen. Toni
Lymph collected from any tissue have to pass through a lymph node before mixing back in blood.
Whenever there is a infection/inflammation in the catchment area of a lymph node, infected lymph will reach to lymph node and lymph node will becomes swollen as a reaction.
When your ear lobe will become normal, lymph node may gradually shrink to normal.

Hi, Welcome to HCM, Lymph nodes act as a barrier. Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic and posting your query.
