Sudden Intense Pain In Head. Did Double Back Tuck On Trampoline, Landed On Head. Possible Cause?

My 10 year old Daughter had a sudden intense pain in her head that she said "hurt really really bad" and felt kind of like "stinging". It came on very quickly and left quickly. The next day she again had pain in her head, but this time she said it felt more throbby and was located on the top right posterior of her head. This pain also lasted a very short time. The following day she had another episode just posterior to the area the day before that she said felt like stinging again.
I am concerned because she has never had anything like this before.
The only thing that I think may be the cause is that she was doing a double back tuck on the trampoline at gymnastics and landed on her head. This occured two days before the initial head pain. She landed on the trampoline and seemed fine other than pain in her upper back. Could this be the cause of her sudden onset of pain or could there be something else going on?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

It is difficult to come to a conclusion, without detailed clinical examination. However, the symptoms do not suggest any serious neurological illness.

The episodes suggest a neuralgic pain, due to involvement of nerves, most likely in the skin. It could be related to the recent injury.

We expect improvement in her condition within a few days. However, if she does not recover, then, a CT scan of the brain may be done.

Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)
