Sudden Speeding Up Of Heart For Short Period, Difficulty Breathing, Cold, Sharp Pain In Left Chest. Have Athletic Asthma. Help
My heart at random times speeds up real real fast for like 5-10 seconds and it makes it hard for me to breath and it hurts. this has happened a couple of times to me. Last night i was also having really sharp, cold pain in my chest on my left side as well. Please help if you can. I have athletic asthma and I am in the army here at JBLM, WA. I am 6ft tall 194lbs.

Your symptoms could be related most probably to a coronary artery diseases such as angina pectoria or myocardial infarction.
The most common risk factor is high cholesterol which will need to be checked by a doctor after evaluating your heart with ECG and cardiac ultrasound.
From your description, the problem is most likely from your heart, so I will suggest you see a cardiologist for proper heart evaluation.
