Sudden Vision Brightness, Weakness After Prolonged Usage Of Zeptol. Suggested Psychiatrist Visit

hi my dad is 50yrs old.he has been using zeptol cr 400 tablets for more than 15yrs!doctors were not sure about his condition and problem..but as they suggested he started using zeptol tablets andwe have seen some improvment.now he started complaining about sudden vision brightness,weakness.especially after he gets up from his sleep.our doctor suggested psychiatrist..please help us thanks.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns. As an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) i can tell u what your telling is right sir/madam.Zeptol has ocular side effects like corneal swelling ,cataract, glaucoma ,mydriasis (dilation of pupils) and so on .sudden vision brightness, can happen so if it is bothering too much for him kindly consult an ophthalmologist.For weakness he has to improve his general condition ( food and mild exercise) .AS your doctor said have a psychiatrist opinion also.
