Ayurveda Specialist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM
I am General Physician and read you mail in detail. I want to know more in your history:
1. Have you Hypertensive or diabetic
2. Age
3. Has previous history of such episode.
4. Is the weakness in left hand increasing, improving or constant.
The short detail provided by you cant guide us to get to a diagnosis but it could be a attack of TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) or stoke like symptoms. In this the blood flow to the part of brain stops for a brief of time period. But this attack lasts upto 1-2 hours only.
My advise is to consult your Doctor and follow his advises.
Best Wishes
