Suffer From Endometriosis. Mirena Coil Inserted While Removing Ovarian Cysts. Distended Abdomen. Reason?
i had the mirena coil inserted in December to prevent flooding due to endometriosis. I had it inserted when I was in surgery to remove two huge cysts. I now have a hugely distended womb and a lot of fluid retention in my stomach and generally. Could it be related to the coil? I am not pregnant as I did check that first!
I would suggest that you see a gynecologist immediately without any delay. You do need an ultrasound scan and a qualified gynecologist who can take care of your problem if it is at all related to your endometriosis and insertion of mirena coil.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day !
