Suffer From Memory Loss, Confusion And Difficulty In Focusing. Feeling Depressed. Concerned About Alzheimer's Disease

Hi, I am Amel . I recently began to forget very close events(5min )if I did things . I have a lot of confusion interpreting things for months and have a lot of difficulty focusing ,and often feel very depressed and stressed out. However, I can remember past events that marked me in the tiniest details.Should I worry about my mental state and relate to Alzeimer or similar mental concern? thanks!

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Your symptoms of memory loss require investigations to find out the underlying cause and does not necessarily mean that you have developed Alzheimer's disease (AD). This is because memory loss can occur due to so many causes, other than AD.
Please consult a neurologist for evaluation.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
