Suffer From Pimples And Dandruff. Burning Sensation After Using Faceclin Gel. Stop Medication?

iam 20 years old. my face is full of pimples and i have dandruff also. i have asthma problem too.so my dermatologist has asked me to use faceclin-a gel. i have used it two days but now at different parts of my face iam feeling burning sensation, skin has become extremely rough, and that area has become slightly dark than the rest of the face
what should i do now?? should i continue using the cream or not??
i have high dandruff. even hair has started to be lost in small circles now. the doctor has prescribed me KEVON and SALISIA shampoo. how can i prevent my hair loss and dandruff??

Faceclin a contains clindamycin and adapalene.
Of these adapalene is a retinoid drug and has to be used properly.
It is a photosensitive drug and can cause rash if you have applied it at day time.It has also got exfoliating property and can lead to roughness of skin.
Stop applying faceclin a .Avoid soap and face wash for few days. Avoid sun.Wash face with cold water only.Apply a mild steroid cream like desonide over affected areas.
Once rash is gone you can start reapplying cream again.But remember following points.
1.Apply only at night time .
2Take only a small quality and spread it gently over entire face.
3.Wash face after 1 to 2 hours.Avoid using harsh soaps .
4.use a good moisturizer at day time and avoid sun
You can continue your shampoos for dandruff,they will also help in reducing hair fall.
