Suffered Seizures. Prescribed Zefretol And Frisium. Continue This Tablets?

dear doctor my husband suffered from seizures during 12 oct 2011 midnight we consulted neurospecialist they prescribed him zefretol400 anf frisium10 after taking this tablets he didn't attack with seizures again but he not going for proper checkups because of lot of commitmnts and continuous jobs but still he taking those tablets in night before sleep whether it is right to continuou for a long time ? for how many days?

Thank for choosing HCM, I really understand your concern, you did not mentioned here the proper diagnosis of neuro. seizure is symptoms and not the disease it self,, this could be happened because of epilepsy, fever, brain lesion , head injury, psychogenic, zefretol would control the seizure,, but under laying cause should treated first. if the disease being treated or say if the treatment given according to the cause then attack of seizure will stop without the zefretol and if not then seizure will be there and you need to control it with zefretol , have a good day
