Suffering From BP, Level 150/110, Taking Olmesartan, Suggested To Take Calcigard. What To Do?

Hello sir I am malaya ray aged 38, I m suffering from bp since last 4 years.my blood pressure is 150/110 and I am taking olmesartan and amlodipin combination science one year. To day my bp shoot sup to 160/120, I was suggested to take calcigard and alprax . Please tel me what to do

Dear sir

Alprax and calciguard is never an alternative for olmesartan and amlodepine as these two are potent antihypertensive drugs.

Since you have high blood pressure especially diastolic, alprax reduces anxiety indirectly reduces blood pressure.

But adding a third agent for control of blood pressure is recommended rather than increasing the dosage. It is suggested to add a beta blocker as it reduces diastolic bp well.
