Hello Danish,
Thanks for writing to us
For TB spine your father have to take complete bed rest. He can turn to sides. Sitting and standing and walking is not allowed initially as this may lead to neurological signs to develop. He can take tramadol preparation(ultracet) under supervision of doctor for pain control.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. K. Naga Ravi Prasad's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Tuberculosis of spine is a destructive disease which may lead to neurological deficits if not treated properly.

Adequate rest is necessary. The involved area of the spine is to be supported with a spinal brace so as to avoid any movement at the diseased area of spine preventing collapse. This immobility also reduces pain secondarily.

If the pain is intense, Narcotic medications are indicated. Consult your treating doctor and discuss the issues.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
