Suffering From HSV Virus. Prescribed Virux. Is Pregnancy Safe With The Virus?

I am caught by hsv virus . when i was caught by this virus i don t know . but last year due to some complications i consult with a doctor . He advised me for a test & then i come ti know that i am caught by that virus .the doctor advised me to take virux 400mg twice a daily . I took that medicine for about 1 year . I am married & presently expecting a baby . I don t know that is the long term affect of that virus . pls advice me on this .

HI,
Asper your doctors advice you have taken the complete course for eradicating the infection.Atpresent no treatment is required.You can get done viral antibody titres IGM and IGG.Since you have taken the fullcourse you can conceive without any complication to the foetus.Later if required we can do the viral antibody titre for the baby.
