Suffering From PCOS, Pain During Menstrual Cycle, Bulge In Belly Button. Could It Be A Cyst?

I am 36 years old I have PCOS .. I have never had pain during a menstrual cycle.. The last year I have been dealing with pain that last for about 20 minutes off and on.. I have thought it to be a cyst bursting.. I usually have a clear discharge after that painful experience.. Would you say that is what I am dealing with. Also, I have a bulge in my belly button, it s soft and it sortof moves around.. Could that be a cyst too ?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you stated that you are having cyst , so the pain may be due to cyst.
Next query is that in belly button there may be cyst?
However it is not possible to say any thing at this because without physical examination.
This may be a cyst or may be umbilical hernia .
Consult a surgeon and get his opinion as physical examination will reveal the exact nature of disease.
Further ultrasound will help in cyst diagnosis.
Gynaecologist will tell you about the cyst course .
Good luck.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out the position and quantity of cyst and she will treat you accordingly.
These symptoms may be because of cyst also.
Good luck.
