General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Khethan,

First of all try to relax.

I would suggest that you get a couple of investigations done to rule out other treatable causes of anxiety like hemoglobin, Thyroid function tests, blood sugar etc. If all the tests come back as normal, please be reassured that there is nothing majorly wrong with you ,and it is just a case of anxiety.

What happened on July 2011? Did any incident take place at that time which has made you fearful of death.

Regular exercise 30-45 minutes a day 5 days a week is a must. Exercise releases endorphins which will make you feel good.

I would also advise you to sign up for yoga/ relaxation exercises.

If none of the above mentioned measures seem to be helping, I would suggest you visit a psychologist who might be able to help you by counselling.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
