Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your available history.

You should take him to psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management.

There are two treatment option.
1) Antidepressant agents like sertraline, escitalopram etc
2) Psychotherapy or counselling

Depending upon his condition doctor may advise either or both of options.

Meanwhile, he may do stress management and relaxation exercise like yoga or breathing exercise for better control over stress.

You should continue to be accompanying him in doing his favorite activities.

Thanks.
