Hello and welcome to HCM,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
From your history of seasonal allergies, asthma is likely. However there is no need to worry. There are excellent medicines for asthma now.
Please consult a pulmonologist and start inhaled steroids and beta agonist drugs. Also get pulmonary function tests done. Many metered dose inhalers are available like esiflo, seroflo and initial dose is two puffs a day which can later be tapered to one puff a day.

Acute exacerbations can be managed with additional drugs like salbutamol. Also try to avoid allergens like dust, pollen and also make a note of things that produce symptoms in a diary and try avoiding them. Tablet montelukast taken daily for 6 months with prescription also helps.

So do not worry. You will be fine.

Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
