Yes, it can be a typhoid episode as suggested by widal positive, but it can be made confirmed only when a four fold rise in antibody titre is demonstrated in a repeat widal after 2 weeks of the initial test. Do you have only fever or any associated symptoms? The information may help us localize any infection focus, if present at all. Acc to me you have done a good job by getting yourself admitted. Follow the physician s advice and undergo investigations to find out the cause. All the best.
