Suffering From Fever And Coughing Blood. What Does Blood Test Report Suggest?

hi, my father is suffering from fever and cough since 10 days, he had blood while coughing. we consult the physician and he did some blood test and saying nothing to worry about, but in report there is line which indicate HILA are prominent and bronchovesicular markings are congested . please help me to understand this bcoz my father is smoker and he 58 yrs old and also tell what should we do further. many-many thanks.

Hi,
From history it seems that your father is suffering from acute lower respiratory tract infection.
Possibility of having pneumonia should be ruled out.
Go for one higher antibiotic medicine course for 7 days.
Give some cough suppressant syrup as well.
Ok and take care.
