If I remember correctly it was 1 x 250mg of Naproxen and 3 x 50mg of Diclofenac Sodium per day. Could you please confirm. I m afraid I ve lost the boxes for them. Thank You

Hi dear,
we must not ignore gout on pain killers alone. They can be taken need based to a dosage you mentioned correctly.
You start a proper drug like allopurinol , probenecid , etc. after consulting a physician.
Also monitor your Uric acid levels every 3 weeks.dont let them exceed 6mg/dl.
Reduce protein intake and if possible , shift to piroxicam which is better suited in your condition.
Contact me anytime.
hope you get well soon.

thank you.
you should start with a one drug among them.
you can start with naproxen 250 mg daily, then increase the dose gradually upto 500 mg 8 hourly if needed.
if not responding then replace the drug with diclofenac sodium. at first with low dose, then increase the dose gradually according to need.
usually 2 NSAID is not prescribed at a time.
