Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. Your
head injury seems mild. This is because you are having only headache and bruise. There is no
loss of consciousness, vomiting, fits or loss of memory. You are able to write the question.
My advise is "do not worry". However you should worry about the fainting attack. Discuss it with your doctor whether it was only
orthostatic hypotension or some electrolyte/glucose imbalance.
For headache and bruise, you can follow few tips
- You can apply icepacks at bruise site.
- Avoid pressure at bruise and pain site
- Take tablet
paracetamol tablet after consulting your doctor. Avoid NSAIDs for pain.
- You can apply
diclofenac gel at pain site.
- Keep your head at higher level than chest to relieve swelling.
Hope it will help you. If still in doubt, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
