Suffering From Headache & Swelling Of Right Tonsils

I have headaches and my right tonsil has swelled up and had a cough but that;s gone now. It s been nearly 2 weeks now. I ve had no medication. D you know what I have and how long it takes to heal? Also if there is any over the counter medication that I can take for it.

Hello,

You were having acute pharyngitis infection and usually, it resolves in week.

If not than antibiotic need to be prescribed.

If you have persistent headache for two week as mentioned than get checked your blood pressure value and routine CBC.
Underlying cause has to be searched for. If any history of anxiety than mention it.
