Suffering From Hepatitis B, Have Hepatitis B Virus DNA Quantitative Within Normal Range. What Does This Indicate?
HELLO doctor my husband has been suffering from Hepetitis B since 2007.His HBV REAL TIME QUANTITAVE are H 0000 copies/mL in 2008. Now his HEPATITIS B VIRUS DNA QUANTITAVE(HBV VIRAL LOAD BY TAQ MAN) are 180IU/ML.What does it indicates? Is this is satisfactory? He is not taking any medicine yet . Shall I give him LIV52 HB or not? Please give me a satisfactory answer

Regular estimation of HBV VIRAL LOAD gives an indication to your physician that how fast is virus multiplying on you.
Treatment depends upon tne viral load levels .
As your husbands viral load is less,he doesn't require any treatment and needs only regular monitoring of VIRAL LOAD.
there is no role of medicines like LIV 52 in tnetreatment.
