Suffering From High BP. Taking Stamlo Beta, On Diet Control, Doing Yoga. How To Reduce BP?

i am 48 year old and having high blood pressure i.e. 140/100 & taking one stamlo beta regularly,as well as having complete control on diet i.e. salt restricted diet, one time salad & one time 3 chapati, watery dal, a vegetable . In addition to that doing yoga for about 30 minutes. Pl. advice to control the high B.P.

To reduce blood pressure you have to change your life style and avoid the factors which causes high BP:
1. Avoid stress as much as you can.
2. Keep a check on your lipid components.
3. Reduce your weight if you are overweight.
4. Avoid all type of fatty and oily food. Use olive oil for cooking food.
5. Do regular exercise for 30 minutes with your regular yoga.
6. Take a good sleep of 6-8 hours daily.

I have read your question,
High Blood pressure is a consequence of various reasons, but let me say tension and stress the most potential reasons for high blood pressure. You are actually doing a good job by practicing yoga and the drug is good as well..
But i suggest you to practice meditation as well during which i suggest you to think about the positive things occured in your life, try to calm yourself down , and try to eat healthy green veggies , oat meal and dry fruits except cashew nuts, and low sodium salt, walk for some time dont sit idle increase the strength mentally and physicaly ,
Remember there is nothing a human cant achieve and hope one day you will reduce your blood pressure to normal .

I any case if you i suggest you to take regular bp check up as well,
