Suffering From Intestinal Problems, Lower Back Pain. Eating Fiber Rich Fruits, Vegatables

My husband is having intestinal problems which are making his back hurt on both sides in the lower back. He has had some problems with bowel movements, such as hard small narrow stool, as well as runny. He eats a lot of fiber and eats very healthy. Lots of fruits and vegetables. When he lays down the pain seems to subside, and when he has a bowel movement the pain subsides…He is a pretty laid back guy so we don't think it's a "nervous" type of thing. thanks for your insight…Mary Lou

Since dietary habits seems fine we should rule out back bone problem or stone problem
For this he may take a x-ray of spine and a ultrasound of lower abdomen and then visit a internal medicine doctor with reports
If there is a back bone problem then physiotherapy will help
