Suffering From Itchy Red Rashes, Dry Skin, Dry Vagina, Feels Like Ingrown Hairs. Worrisome
Hi I m looking for some advice I have a red rash that sort of feels like dry skin along the out lip of my vagina . It s not painful but it s terribly itchy. The lip is also now a lot smaller than the other I m not sure if this due to anything related to this. When I touch it it feels a little lumpy like ingrown hairs. I m starting to think the worse and I m far to embarrassed to go to my GP. Please help x
You should try anti-fungal ointment like clotrimazole that is available over the counter twice daily on the itchy areas of the vagina.
Also, an oral course of antibiotic like Amoxicillin and clavulinic acid should help in clearing away the Folliculitis.
This is a prescription drug. Please get it prescribed by your doctor.
Do not feel embarrassed to meet your GP.
I do not see a major health concern here.
Get well soon.

Suffering From Itchy Red Rashes, Dry Skin, Dry Vagina, Feels Like Ingrown Hairs. Worrisome
Hi, I understand your concern. It most probably seems like folliculitis or inflammation of the hair follicle in the outer lip of vagina. Since there is itching, it can be a fungal infection too.
