Hello, Leucorrhea is a vaginal discharge and can be caused by various reasons. Many a time leucorrhea can be normal and physiological but if the discharge is yellow or green in colour and associated with itching and burning, then it is inflammatory and infectious in nature. Since sexually transmitted diseases like Trichomoniasis and GONORRHEA can also result in such discharges,an examination for both of you have been advised. Ideally your wife should be seen by a GYNECOLOGIST and proper swab culture of vaginal discharge should be done. Treatment would depend upon finding the cause. She must also be tested for anemia, diabetes,VIT D,VIT B12,calcium etc . Thanks
