Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
ive been having very bad migrains lately everyday,my stomach has also been very upset ive been getting off and on sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen right next to my right hip. the pains come and go very quick but they hurt really bad this has been going for a while
Hi ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
The pain in your abdomen might not be related to the migraine. If I were your doctor, I would examine you physically to rule out any signs of an appendicitis, and advise for an ultrasound to rule out other conditions (e:g:, urinary stones, or pelvic viscera pains in case of females) in the abdomen. Further management would depend on the clinical findings and investigation reports.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
