Hi, thanks for asking form HCM.
I can understand your concern. If you are getting nasal bleed almost daily, it could be due to
: Chronic rhinitis/sinusitis
: Nasal polyp
: Nasal mass (benign or malignant)
Bleeding from throat is due to leak of blood from nose to throat. You need to
consult ENT specialist for evaluation. He will advise
: Nose, sinus and nasopharynx evaluation
: Nasal endoscopy
: CT of nose and
paranasal sinuses.
Final treatment can be given after confirmation of diagnosis.
Regarding headache, dizziness and
blurred vision, it could be due to nasal pathology or
refractive error or stress related headache
It can be managed by
: Avoid stress
: Use glasses if you have refractive error
:
Consult ophthalmologist regarding change in number of glasses, visual acuity examination
: You can take tab
Paracetamol after prescription. Avoid NSAIDS as these can cause bleeding.
: Take tab Beta-histine after prescription. It will relieve dizziness.
After running, you can develop light headless and
chest tightness due to
: rapid breathing which decreases CO2 level in body and leads to decreased blood supply in brain. It is an '"autonomic response".
: Chest tightness is due to fatigue, rapid breathing to clear CO2 and supply O2 to body.
Do not worry about it.
Hope it will help you. Thanks, take care.
