Suffering From Seronegative Spondyloartheritis. Having Vomiting Sensation And Fever While Taking Methotreaxate, Folic Acid. Should I Continue Medication?
Hi my brother is 19 year old,and suffering from seronegative spondyloartheritis. the doctor has prescribed him :
methotreaxate 15mg once a week
folic acid 5 mg twice daily for 2 days a week
sazo 1000 mg daily twice
defcot 12 mg daily in the morning
pantocid 40 mg daily
accelofennac 100 mg twice daily after food and paracetamol 500 mg when the pain increased.
but after following this prescription , everyday in the morning the patient feel like vomittng, and theres a mild fever with pain.
he is unable to eat and some time after having the break fast and following the prescription..he vomitts. shall i continue the prescription or its a minor side effect. pls guide me through the complications

most of drug used in seroneg spondyloarthritis had property of gastric irritation but you must rule out liver dysfunction due to toxicity of drug.please do the investigation like LIVER function test and complete blood count and if blood within normal limit you may continue otherwise stop the drug and consult you physician to prescribe alternative medicine.
