Suffering From Sever Ankylsing Spondylities
Our Ortho doctor prescribed Enbrel 25 mg a week for my brother who is suffering from sever Ankylosing Spondylitis ....Is it advisile to take that Inj. as I have come to know there going to be serious side effects....or just Methodrexate alog with Indometachin is enough?

No drug comes without side effects even Methotrexate and indomethacin cause side effects. Enbrel is a Immunomodulator which blocks a inflammatory protein and has shown to improve the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis. Let him take it as prescribed by your Doctor and go for regular follow up.
