Suffering From Severe Nose Blockage During Winters. Nasal Bone Stretched And Covers Half Of The Nostrils. Any Recommendations?
Hello doctor. Every year I have been suffering from severe nose blockage and condition worsen in winters, though I use nasal drop for temporary relief but conditions remains same after few hours . Secondly my nose bone is little stretched covering half of my nostrils. Any recommendation would be of great help.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Recurrent nasal obstruction needs to be evaluated for cause. Get examined by ENT specialist for any nasal polyps, deviated septum, adenoid hypertrophy, Allergic rhinosinusitis or turbinate hypertrophy. You may need to get few test done like allergy test, X-ray for adenoids, nasopharyngoscopy.
Treatment of underlining cause helps to resolve your problem. Prolonged use of nasal decongestant is not recommended.
