Suffering From Severe Pain In Lower Left Quadrant, Urinating Often. Reason?

I have been suffering from severe pain in my lower left quadrant since around 4:00 pm et. When I change positions it hurts worse. I have been putting ice on it for the last couple of hours. I dont know if I need to go to the er or what. Earlier today before the pain began I had diarrhea . I am urinating often with no pain. When I change from sitting to standing pain is 8 of 10. When I lie on my left side my pain goes from 7 to 10 according to position. I am an LPN. Am i suffering from too much info or what.

Hi,
From you symptoms it seems that you are having acute Gastro-enteritis.
Take some anti-spasmodic tablet like Dicyclomine and you will feel better.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Mean while take Electral powder.
Take plenty of water.
Take light diet.
ok and take care.
