Suffering From Sinus, Bad Cold And Hurting Ears. Remedy For Hurting Ears
I had a really bad sinus cold. My nose was stuffed and my ears felt much pressure. I was taking Sudafed for one week, nasal saline spray, steam showers, etc. My cold is long gone, but my ears still feel clogged and somewhat painful. I went in to see an ENT, and she merely looked in my ear and said it was clear and dry. Can I have fluid in my ear that requires further testing? Why does my ear still hurt? By the way, I also took Amoxicillin, even though I was told I didn't have an infection. Should I take more Sudafed? Should I take Zyrtec? Netty Pot? Please advise?

there could be fluid behind the ears
to test it you need to get done Impedance audiometry.
You can take antihistaminics and decongestant combination drugs and mucolytics -----
Tab. Mucinac 600 once daily
Tab. Ebastine/Loratidine +Phenylephereine /pseudoephedrine twice daily
fluid behind the ears take around 15 days to go.
for sinus disease you must get done CT scan of nose and paranasal snuses to rule out infection in sinuses.then you can decide for nasal sprays or netty pot and need for other sprays.
using netty pot or plain zyrtec may not help.
