Suffering From Stomach Pain,nausea And Passing Of Dark Stools

HI..I have diabetes. For the past two months I have had runny or soft black or dark colored stools. Today for the first time the stools were brown. I have an achy pain in my lower left stomach and I get nausea at times. I also suffer from clammy sweats during the day and night. Does this sound like something to be concerned about. I am 71 yrs. old

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and the black stools. definitely, it is something for you to be concerned about. These symptoms are suggestive a possible bleed in the intestines. There are several different causes and only a good examination and testing can establish the cause. Have you been doing your regular colonoscopy screening? Please, get consulted and evaluated by a gastroenterologist for these symptoms.
